AICTE-QIP-PG Certificate Programme on Robotics (July–December 2026)
The AICTE-QIP-PG Certificate Programme on Robotics is a 6-month hybrid (18-credit) faculty development programme jointly offered by the Department of Mechanical Engineering and the Department of Electrical Engineering, IIT Palakkad. Designed for engineering faculty members, the programme provides comprehensive training in modern robotics through expert lectures, hands-on laboratory sessions, simulation exercises, MATLAB and ROS programming, and project-based learning.
Participants will gain practical knowledge in robot kinematics and dynamics, robot modelling and control, mobile robotics, industrial automation, embedded systems, computer vision, artificial intelligence for robotics, and autonomous systems. The programme combines online/offline instruction with intensive offline laboratory sessions at IIT Palakkad, enabling participants to develop both theoretical understanding and practical skills in robotics.
