Biosketch
Manojit Ghose has joined the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology Palakkad as an Assistant Professor (Grade I) in July 2026. He hails from the North-East (Assam) part of the country, obtained his PhD in Computer Science and Engineering from IIT Guwahati, and previously served as a faculty member at IIIT Guwahati. His research interests span computer architecture, memory-centric computing, edge/cloud computing, compiler-assisted program execution, sustainable and secure computing, and the integration of AI/ML into computing systems. His research has resulted in publications in leading international journals and conferences, along with some externally funded projects. He is eagerly looking forward to collaborate with faculty members and welcomes interactions with students and research scholars interested in pursuing research in computer systems and related areas.
