Dr. Sathya D., Postdoctoral Fellow, working with Dr. Sudarshan R Kottai, Assistant Professor,  Department of Humanities and Social Sciences, has been awarded the Global Girmitiya Award by the Global Girmitiya Lineage Archive & Searching Centre (GGLASC). The award was conferred in recognition of her immense and valuable contributions toward promoting global Girmitiyalogy awareness and for scholarly engagement and sustained commitment to advancing research, education, and global understanding of Girmitiya heritage.
