Congratulations Dr. Sathya !

Dr. Sathya D, Postdoctoral Fellow, working with Dr. Sudarshan R Kottai, Assistant Professor, Department of Humanities and Social Sciences,  has been awarded a prestigious research fellowship grant for the proposed research topic , “Famine and mental health discourses in colonial Tamil region from 1865  to 1947 CE ( special reference to Tātu varuṭap pañcam),” by the Tamil Nadu Council for Historical Research (TNCHR). The fellowship is part of the Government of Tamil Nadu’s initiative to compile a comprehensive and authoritative history of the state.
