Sahyadri Soft Days 2026 : Soft Matter School and Symposium at IIT Palakkad
Sahyadri Soft Days, organized by the Department of Physics, IIT Palakkad, brought together students, researchers, and faculty to engage deeply with the evolving landscape of soft matter physics. Over two days of focused school sessions followed by a concluding symposium, participants explored key theoretical foundations, experimental approaches, and emerging research trends in the field.
The event comprised a two-day School held on 22–23 January 2026, followed by a one-day Research Symposium on 24 January 2026. It featured 12 invited speakers from leading institutions across India, who covered a diverse range of topics including Disordered Systems, Membrane Physics, Computational Biology, Active Matter Physics, and Experimental Techniques that fostered meaningful academic exchange and inspired thoughtful discussions.
