RISE: Researcher Innovation & Skills Enhancement Program Concludes Successfully
The Researcher Innovation & Skills Enhancement (RISE) Program concluded successfully with the participation of 158 researchers and students, including 112 external and 46 internal participants, from several Universities and Institutions across the country. Institutions such as Pondicherry University, Anna University, Mahatma Gandhi University, University of Calicut, University of Kerala, APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, NIT Calicut, NIT Tiruchirappalli and IIT Madras are a few to name.
The program was inaugurated by Dr. Bibhu Rangan Sarangi, Associate Dean (PG), in the presence of Dr. Swaroop Sahoo, Associate Dean (Students). The sessions covered key research competencies, including technical writing, AI tools for research, material characterisation, intellectual property rights, and statistical computing using R, delivered by experts from academia and industry. A panel discussion on career pathways and opportunities in research provided valuable insights into diverse research careers.The program concluded with a valedictory function and certificate distribution, marking the successful completion of the two-day event.
