Patent Granted !

A patent has been awarded for a novel nanoformulation of lipophilic derivatives of epigallocatechin-3-gallate (EGCG), a key green tea polyphenol, which has demonstrated outstanding potency against multi-drug resistant bacterial strains such as methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA), Acinetobacter baumannii and Pseudomonas aeruginosa. This invention highlights a promising therapeutic avenue for combating hard-to-treat infections.
