Ms. Sangeetha.V, Research Scholar under the guidance of Dr. Praveena Gangadharan, Associate Professor, Department of Civil Engineering, has been selected for the Gandhian Young Technological Innovation 2024 Appreciation Award. Her proposal, titled “Closed-Loop Sanitation: Self-Powered Technology for Water Recovery and Fertiliser Production from Source-Separated Urine,” has been recognised for its innovative approach to sustainable sanitation and resource recovery.
