With over 17 years of involvement as the primary geotechnical consultant for the project, Prof. Madhavi Latha offered deep insights into the delicate interplay between design, terrain and technology – a blend of vision and perseverance that turned India’s century-old dream of running a train between Jammu and Srinagar into reality.
