Achievement!

Eight faculty members from IIT Palakkad have been featured in the 2025 edition (Version 8) of the World’s Top 2% Scientists list, published by Elsevier in collaboration with Prof. John P. A. Ioannidis of Stanford University. This year, two more faculty members from the institute earned a place on the list.

The dataset covers career-long impact (updated to end-2024) and single-year impact (citations during 2024), based on Scopus author profiles as of August 1, 2025. For a career-long impact, 2,36,313 scientists were featured with 80,31,096 ranking positions recorded, while for the single-year impact, 2,30,333 scientists were featured with 39,35,765 positions recorded.
