Industry Academia Conclave commenced at IIT Palakkad

The seventh edition of the Industry–Academia Conclave (IAC 7.0) commenced at IIT Palakkad. The two-day event brings together distinguished leaders from academia and  industry to foster meaningful collaboration and dialogue.The conclave was inaugurated in the presence of Vice Admiral Srinivas Kalidoss, AVSM, NM, VSM (Retd.), who graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. Dr. Athira P., Dean, Academics and Prof. Santhakumar Mohan, Dean, ICSR, also addressed the gathering.

Dr. Nelson Muthu, Associate Professor and Faculty In-Charge of AIC, delivered the welcome address. Prof. A. Seshadri Sekhar, Director, IIT Palakkad, highlighted IIT Palakkad’s proactive efforts in developing industry-aligned programs and courses, reinforcing the institute’s dedication to equipping its students and faculty with relevant skills and knowledge. This year’s conclave features a distinguished lineup of speakers, including Mr. Shankar Subburathinam, Engineering Manager, Caterpillar, Inc.; Prof. Krishnan Balasubramanian, IIT Madras; Dr. M. P. Ramnavas, Director (Projects), Kochi Metro Rail Ltd.; and Dr. U. P. Senthilkumar, Head (R&D EP), 3Xper Innoventure Ltd.
