IIT Palakkad Welcomes FRIENDSHIP 2.0 Delegation

IIT Palakkad was honoured to host a delegation from the FRIENDSHIP 2.0 initiative. The visit, aimed at strengthening Japan-India partnerships in academics and industry, featured Ms. Chikako Kasai (Deputy Team Leader) and Ms. Sangeeta Shrivastava (Project Administrator). ​The delegation was hosted by Dr. Subrahmanyam Mula, Faculty-in-Charge of International and Alumni Relations. The visit included a tour of the IPTIF facility, followed by a productive session focused on expanding academic and industrial collaborations.

​FRIENDSHIP 2.0, anchored at IIT Hyderabad, is building a sustainable platform for joint research and study opportunities, supported by a dedicated Japan Desk. Faculty members, including Dr. Dapadu Chakradhar and Dr. Ajoy Arvind, actively contributed to the discussions.

​This engagement marks another step in IIT Palakkad's commitment to global collaborations, opening new doors for both students and faculty.
