Ms. Ankitha Menon,  research scholar under the guidance of Dr. Abdul Rasheed in the Department of Chemistry, has been selected for the Prof. Saroj Chandrasekhar Memorial Award 2025.

This prestigious award, instituted by the Chandrasekhar Foundation in memory of Prof. Saroj Chandrasekhar– a pioneering researcher in the field of tuberculosis– aims to recognise and reward women scientists for their contributions to Biosciences and Biotechnology. The award includes a cash prize of Rs.1 lakh and coverage of travel expenses.
