A Milestone Achievement for the Department of Chemistry

The Department of Chemistry at IIT Palakkad has achieved a significant milestone by successfully securing a recommendation under Level C of the prestigious FIST program by the Department of Science and Technology (DST). This recognition places the department among the ranks of some of the most well-established and renowned institutions in the country. Competing against well established departments from institutions such as IISc Bangalore, IIT Delhi, IIT Madras, CUSAT, and the University of Calicut, IIT Palakkad emerged as the only new institute to make it to the final round in this highly competitive category.
