​​​​​​​Introduction to Line Protection in Power Systems, including hands-on training with PSCAD software

The Department of Electrical Engineering at IIT Palakkad and the IIT Palakkad Technology IHub Foundation(IPTIF) jointly organized a two-day workshop on Introduction to Line Protection in Power Systems. The workshop included hands-on training on PSCAD. Attendees were introduced to the fundamentals of power system protection and were provided with nine hours of intensive hands-on training to conduct system studies using PSCAD software. Dr. Manas Kumar Jena, Assistant Professor, Department of Electrical Engineering at IIT Palakkad, led the program. A total of eight participants registered for the event; two of them were engineers from the Kerala State Electricity Board(KSEB) Limited.
