Our research involves various aspects of quantum information science and its interface with quantum many-body physics. Some of the active research directions include

  • (1) detection, quantification, and characterization of quantum correlations belonging to entanglement-separability and information-theoretic paradigms,
  • (2) characterizing quantum many-body systems using quantum correlations,
  • (3) using quantum many-body systems for quantum information processing,
  • (4) topological quantum codes and fault-tolerant quantum computation,
  • (5) open quantum systems from the perspective of quantum information theory, and
  • (6) thermodynamics of quantum heat engines
