Call for Applications - 5G and 6G Hackathon

The Department of Telecommunications (DoT) has launched a 30-hour “5G and 6G Hackathon” that aims to bring together top talent from across India to develop cutting-edge 5G and 6G products and solutions. The Telecom Centre of Excellence (TCOE) India, on behalf of the DoT, invites applications from eligible startups, students, academic professionals, and working professionals. Participants will work on various 5G-6G technology use cases, pushing the boundaries of innovation and contributing to India’s growing role in the global technology landscape.

Locations: New Delhi, Bengaluru, Hyderabad

Dates: 26th and 27th September 2024

Duration: 30 Hours (continuous)

Application deadline - 15 September 2024

Eligibility: Open to students, academia professionals, startups, and working professionals

Participants will select from a set of problem statements and work on developing solutions with the potential to transform 5G and 6G technology.

Prizes (Per Location):

First Place: INR 2 Lakhs

Second Place: INR 1.5 Lakhs

Third Place: INR 1 Lakh

Consolation Prize: INR 75,000

Best Idea Award: INR 50,000
