This is a generator protection simulator used in electrical engineering laboratories to study,test and demonstrate generator protection schemes.It integrates meters,protection relays,CT/PT simulation terminals,speed and frequency control and fault-injection panels in a single rack.The setup allows simulation of conditions such as over/under voltage,overcurrent,phase sequence errors,frequency variations,stator faults and observes relay operation and breaker tripping in a safe,controlled environment.

The experimental setup for testing a feeder protection relay involves a power source, a relay testing kit, a current injection unit, and a circuit breaker. The relay is connected to the system, and fault conditions are simulated by injecting different current levels. The relay response, including tripping time and coordination with the circuit breaker, is analyzed to ensure proper operation.

The setup consists of a static overcurrent relay, a current injection source, and measuring instruments. The relay is tested by varying the current to check its operating characteristics. The tripping time and pickup current are recorded to verify the relay’s accuracy and performance under overcurrent conditions.

AC generator coupled to a DC machine coupled to another DC machine coupled to an AC motor, enabling students to perform various experiments at the same setup,test-bed is equipped with an autotransformer as well,All experiments related to DC machines and AC machines both motor and generator can be done by using this setup (no-load,full load and blocked rotor test etc.,).machine terminals,controlling MCBs,AC/DC indicators,AC/DC output terminals and digital meters are arranged in panel boards.

This equipment is an Air Circuit Breaker (ACB) test setup,mainly used for testing,demonstration, and training purposes. It is designed to test the operation and protection functions of an Air Circuit Breaker under simulated conditions. The panel includes overcurrent and earth fault relays,ammeters,CT(Current Transformer)inputs,and control switches. By adjusting the current injection control,fault currents can be simulated to verify tripping characteristics,relay response,and breaker operation. The setup helps in checking trip timing,protection coordination,and breaker health without connecting it to alive power system
