Prasanna Venkat Ravindran, an undergraduate alumnus of IIT Palakkad Batch 2015, has received the prestigious IEEE Electron Devices Society (EDS) Masters Student Fellowship. It is noteworthy that the fellowship is provided to only three students, one each from the three geographical regions: the Americas, Europe/Middle East/Africa, and the Asia & Pacific. Also, only one student can avail the fellowship from an educational institution.
Currently, he is a Ph.D. student in the Georgia Tech School of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) and is a member of the Electronics with Ferroelectric and Quantum Materials Lab. Prasanna works on the physics of ferroelectric materials to help design better quantum devices and exploit the various phenomena of these materials to push the limits of computing technology.
Congratulations to Prasanna!
