About TECHIN

Technology Innovation Foundation of IIT Palakkad (TECHIN), a section 8 (not for profit) company set up as an Incubator arm of IIT Palakkad is a collaborative entity with Institutes and Industry to create an impactful innovation ecosystem, discover disruptive technologies and enable entrepreneurs & startups. Multiple centers of excellence are emerging under this company, with initial focus on water sanitation and hygiene, and biomedical devices. A Technology Innovation center will take care of all the training, innovation and incubation needs for the startups across domains.

About GSCOE

Global Sanitation Center of Excellence(GSCOE) established in Jan 2022 at Technology Innovation Foundation of IIT Palakkad(TECHIN) at IIT Palakkad. GSCOE is a center for collaborative and sustainable  innovation, incubation, scaling manufacturing, skill development, training showcase and deployment of Sanitation solutions. Technologies that provide reduction in pollutants and pathogens, reduction in use of vital resources and energy, improvement and efficiency in recovery of nutrients, energy, creation of products and bi-products that can benefit the society and also provide livelihood, safe and clean sanitation would be the primary focus of the center. 

 


Position Project Manager for GSCOE 

Qualification

  • Graduate in Engineering  or Science  with post graduate in business or developmental studies
  • Five to ten years experience in any development office/ skill training/ training/…
  • Two to three years experience is managing people and running projects. 
  • Computer skills – email, excel, word, using drive, video editing, setting up video meetings, design of posters, 
  • Communication skills – written and verbal communication in English and one of  Malayalam, Tamil, Hindi 
  • Experience writing impact reports, proposals for projects and proposals for funding 
  • Conflict resolution 
  • Enthusiasm to contribute to the ecosystem/organization
  • Relevant Experience 

Job profile

  • Liaison with 
  • Planning and Organizing marketing part of the program 
  • Creating brochure, program publicity documentation

Junior Office Assistant (Should also be able to handle Accounts) for GSCOE 

Qualification

  • Graduate in Commerce 
  • One or two years experience in any development office/ skill training/ training/…
  • Computer skills – email, excel, word, using drive, setting up video meetings
  • Communication skills – written and verbal communication in English and one of  Malayalam, Tamil, Hindi  
  • Enthusiasm to contribute to the ecosystem/organization
  • Relevant Experience 

Job profile

  • Organising program 
  • Documentation, reports, printing
  • Coordinating with participants for getting their registration, reports,etc
  • Coordinating with resource people for logistics 
  • Setting up meetings
  • Purchase
  • Maintaining Accounts in tally
  • Coordinating with caterers, vendors, Housekeeping,
  • Coordinating with other agencies for any compliance related issues 

Salary 

  • 30000 to 40000 per month on contract basis

Position for Technical Executive for GSCOE 

Qualification

  • Post Graduate in Chemistry  
  • One or two years experience in Laboratory or workshop operating machines or working on technical projects
  • Expertise in operating machines and equipment
  • Computer skills – CAD software / fusion 360 software, Simulation software like simulink or ansys  email, excel, word, using drive
  • Communication skills – written and verbal communication in English and one of  Malayalam, Tamil, Hindi 
  • Experience Raising indent, purchase order, monitoring inventory in the lab, placing orders for consumables, writing reports, providing technical inputs for proposals for projects and proposals for funding and tendering
  • Conflict resolution 
  • Enthusiasm to contribute to the ecosystem/organization
  • Relevant Experience 

Job profile

  • Maintenance of equipment
  • Monitoring equipment usage by projects 
  • Writing the technical inputs for the proposals and project reports
  • Reviewing usage and incubate consumables requirement, order and purchase
  • Liaison with vendors and service providers
  • Planning and Organizing technical demonstration of equipment usage 
  • Creating user manual for equipment , guidelines for safety documentation
  • Providing technical support to incubate and trainees

Salary

  • 25000 to 31000 per month on contract basis

Executive Marketing

We at TECHIN reach out not only to various Institutions across the country, but to fledgling startups, startups in various stages for Incubation and acceleration. We also reach out to Industry for Industry projects.


Qualification
