The Alumni Cell and TFS (The Fleet Street) are collaborating on a great mission to improve the UG research culture of our institution. And for this special first edition, we have invited Prof. Nitin Saxena who is a recipient of Fulkerson Prize owing to his breakthrough research work during his undergraduate days, to give you the bees and the birds as you fall in love with research. We also have talks from our alumnus Prasanna Venkatesan Ravindran, a current research scholar at Georgia Tech and Madhav Ramesh, current final-year undergrad.

The Department of Humanities and Social Sciences is delighted to announce the launch of its colloquium series, Frontier Discourses, with the inaugural talk by eminent linguist, Prof. Anvita Abbi ,on Friday, 18th February at 6:30 pm via Zoom.

Indian Institute of Technology Palakkad celebrates its 6th Institute Day this year on the 21st of January 2022. The event will be held online starting at 4 pm. Dr. Saji Gopinath, Vice Chancellor, Digital University of Kerala will be the Chief Guest and Prof P.B. Sunil Kumar, Director, IIT Palakkad, will preside over the event.

UBA cell is planning to start this new year with a dream project of  building one ideal model for  villages. As a pilot project we are exploring a sustainable model for having a clean village. We will be very happy if you also join us in this venture. As a first step,  IIT Palakkad Unnat Bharat Abhiyan Cell is organizing an expert talk on Plastics through the lens of Sustainability by Mr. Swapan Kumar Ray on 06 January 2022, Thursday at 03:00 pm.
