The 4th Convocation of IIT Palakkad will be held on Saturday 30th July 2022 at at 3:00 pm at Agora, Nila Campus, IIT Palakkad. Mr. Kris Gopalakrishnan, Chairman Axilor Ventures and Co-founder Infosys will deliver the convocation address and Prof. Ramesh Venkateswaran, Chairman of the Board of Governors, IIT Palakkad, will preside over the Convocation.

We are happy to inform you that on 7th July 2022, an MoU will be signed between Continental’s Technical Centre India (TCI) and the Indian Institute of Technology Palakkad (IIT Palakkad). The MoU will facilitate collaboration for a three-year Joint Research Programme in the areas of autonomous driving technologies, connected mobility, and advanced safety solutions. The MoU will be signed by the Head of Technical Centre India (TCI), Continental, Latha Chembrakalam, and the Dean of Industrial Research at IIT Palakkad Dr. Santhakumar Mohan.

IIT Palakkad's summer internship program aims at introducing undergraduate and postgraduate students to research so as to enthuse them, and to get them interested in a career in teaching and research. The program is for six-weeks (June 1st to July 15th 2022) and it combines hands-on research training with a variety of hardware and software analysis tools. Please check out the attachment for more details.

Topic: How IIT Palakkad can make an impact on Society through Science and Technology
The Institute's observances in connection to Republic Day will be solemnised at Nila Campus (in front of Manogatha) on Wednesday, 26 Jan 2022. As is the practice, the Director will hoist the flag at 8am followed by the singing of the National Anthem. This will be followed by the Republic Day Speech by the Director. The Housekeeping and Service staff will then be honoured with a token of appreciation for the vital services they render all year round. A cultural program by the students will follow.
We are felicitating mural artist Shri. Manikandan Punnakkal for his work "The Crucible" at the Nila Campus on 1st November (Time: 6:15 PM, Venue: Samgatha, Nila Campus). Shri. E P Unny, a renowned cartoonist, will be our chief guest on this occasion.
