Palakkad Math Circle is an IIT Palakkad outreach initiative aimed at enhancing the level of mathematical education in schools around Palakkad. This is based on 'Mathematical Circles', a highly successful pedagogical model with origins in Eastern Europe.

The selection workshop for the next batch of students will be held in IIT Palakkad's Nila Campus at Kanjikode on Sunday, 25 June 2023. Class 8 and Class 9 students from schools in Palakkad and Chittur educational subdistricts are eligible for this round of circles.

The Workshop is under the aegis of NAD ( National Academic Depository) , MeitY and Digital India Corporation (DIC).

Shri Prakash Pandey, Manager, National eGovernance Division (NeGD), MeitY and Shri Vinay Bajaj, Business Executive, Academic Bank of Credits (ABC), Digital India Corporation (DIC), MeitY from NAD will be the resource persons for the sessions of the Workshop-cum-Review Meeting.

Objectives and Benefits:

To equip budding researchers/scholars in handling large-scale survey data in India using STATA software. This would enable them in writing good research/project papers and also help in understanding society better.

Rationale:

Antennas for Modern Wireless and Remote Sensing  Applications - An event that will orient the participants regarding the various recent developments and technologies in the field of Antennas including 5G, DIELECTRIC RESONATOR ANTENNAS, MICROWAVE REMOTE SENSING SYSTEMS, PHASED ARRAY ANTENNAS, MILLIMETER WAVE MICRO MACHINED ANTENNAS, SATELLITE COMMUNICATION ANTENNAS  facilitated with the opportunity of direct interaction with the domain experts.
