SPIC MACAY, IIT Palakkad Chapter presents Hindustani Flute Lecture Demonstration by Pandit Ronu Majumdar. Pandit Ronu Majumdar is an Indian Flautist who is a disciple of Late  Pandit Vijay Raghav Rao ji and  Pandit Lakshman Prasad JaipurWaale. A powerhouse performer, Ronu Majumdar is firmly rooted in the Maihar gharana which has also given shape to sturdy musical oaks like Pt. Ravi Shankar and Ustad Ali Akbar Khan.

We will be celebrating the International Day of Yoga (IDY-2018) on 21 June 2018. We will have a mass performance of yogasanas led by the yoga expert Ms Priyambada Palai, as per the common yoga protocol meant for all.

As part of the Vigyan Jyoti Programme, Prof. B. Sury from Indian Statistical Institute Bangalore

will deliver a lecture titled 'Mathematical Puzzles as an aid to introduce mathematical concepts'.

As part of the Vigyan Jyoti Programme, Prof. Krishna Kumar Vellat, Kerala School of 

Mathematics will deliver a lecture titled ' The real line'.

As part of the Vigyan jyoti programme, a team from Bodhini, Kochi will conduct an awareness session

on ' Online Safety'. Bodhini is a movement against child abuse and violence against women.

As part of the Vigyan jyoti programme, Prof. T. K. Krishna Kumar, IIT Palakkad 

will deliver a lecture titled 'Mechanical Engineering: Design, make and manage'

As  part of the Vigyan Jyoti Programme, Prof. Shanti Bhattacharya, Department of Electrical Engineering, IIT Madras will deliver a lecture titled 'Let there be light!'.
