  • Research

    The main focus of Supramolecular Structures and Materials (SSM) group research activities is “The rational design and synthesis of novel structures, materials, and porous polymers for sustainable energy, environment, and biomedical applications".

    The ongoing specific research projects are:

    • Supramolecular Self-assembly Formation of Functional Molecular Architectures and Ensembles.
    • Dynamic Covalent Bond Directed Self-Assembly of Stimuli-Responsive Organic Macrocycles and Cages. 
    • Cage-to-Network Approach: Porous Organic and Hybride Polymers for Selective Sensing, Adsorption, and Sequestration/Conversion of Pollutants.
    • Functional Nanostructures and Nanomaterials for Biomedical Applications.
    • Rational Design and Synthesis of Small-Molecule Chemosensors for Biologically Related Analytes.
    • Development of New Synthetic Methodologies for the Design of Luminescent Organic Structures and Scaffolds
