I am currently pursuing my M.S. (by Research) in Control and Robotics at the Indian Institute of Technology Palakkad (IIT Palakkad), Kerala, India. I earned my Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Robotics and Automation from Sri Ramakrishna Engineering College (SREC), Coimbatore, in 2024, following a Diploma in Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE) from Sri Ramakrishna Polytechnic College (SRPTC), Coimbatore, in 2021.
My primary research focus is V2I (Vehicle-to-Infrastructure) RTK/GNSS-based Autonomous Navigation, with an emphasis on high-precision localization, autonomous navigation, sensor fusion, and intelligent motion planning for mobile robots. My research interests also include Optical Motion Capture (MoCap) Systems for high-precision ground-truth tracking and closed-loop trajectory verification, Deep Reinforcement Learning (RL) for autonomous obstacle avoidance and navigation, and sensor fusion and state estimation using GNSS-RTK, LiDAR, and IMU with Adaptive Kalman Filtering.
From September 2024 to June 2025, I worked as a Project Engineer at the Technology Innovation Hub (TIH), Indian Institute of Technology Bombay (IIT Bombay), where I developed and field-deployed GNSS-RTK-based autonomous ground rovers for precision agriculture at the National Research Centre for Grapes (NRCG). I also engineered aerial drone platforms for pipeline leakage detection in collaboration with the Centre of Excellence in Oil, Gas and Energy (CoEOGE).
In July 2025, I joined the Centre for Industry Collaboration and Sponsored Research (ICSR), IIT Palakkad, as a Project Engineer, where I work on the design and implementation of ROS 2-based independent-steering swerve-drive mobile robots, synchronized multi-drone flight control using Crazyflie quadrotors, and the integration of Qualisys Optical Motion Capture systems with ROS 1, ROS 2, and MATLAB for sub-millimeter-precision ground-truth tracking.
My broader technical interests include Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMRs) and the kinematics, modeling, and control of swerve-drive and omnidirectional Mecanum platforms, along with robotic manipulator control, including computed-torque control, kinematic and dynamic modeling, and ROS 2/MoveIt-based digital twins.
In addition to my research activities, I have served as an IoT & Industry 4.0 Trainer at the Tamil Nadu Smart and Advanced Manufacturing Centre (TANSAM), Coimbatore, where I delivered specialized technical training through the Siemens Industry 4.0 program and mentored student engineering projects. I have also completed industrial internships in robotics and embedded engineering at Salzer Electronics Limited, where I worked on IIoT-based production monitoring frameworks and semi-automated welding systems using RoboDK, and at Circuit 7 Technology, where I worked on embedded microcontroller systems and custom PCB development.
I am currently associated with the Control and Robotics Research Group and the Centre for Industry Collaboration and Sponsored Research (ICSR) at IIT Palakkad, where my work focuses on developing high-precision, robust, and intelligent autonomous robotic systems for real-world applications.
