Leadership talk sheds light on Funding Strategies and Cyber-Physical Systems

IIT Palakkad, in collaboration with the IIT Palakkad Technology IHUB Foundation (IPTIF), successfully organized a leadership talk featuring distinguished speakers, Dr. Akhilesh Gupta, Secretary (SERB), and Dr. Ekta Kapoor, Head of FFT Division.

Dr. Akhilesh Gupta shared valuable insights on "Anusandhan National Research Foundation."  The session proved highly beneficial for faculty, researchers, innovators, and aspiring entrepreneurs, providing a deeper understanding of funding, policy frameworks, and regulatory processes that can foster collaboration and enhance research and development activities. He encouraged researchers to generate high-quality research to secure more funding. High-quality research is the key to groundbreaking innovation, which can lead to the overall development of the country.

Special thanks to Dr. Ekta Kapoor for her detailed presentation on the vision of the National Mission on Interdisciplinary Cyber-Physical Systems (NM-ICPS). She highlighted how CPS technologies can be translated for societal and commercial use, nurturing startups, expanding job opportunities, and producing the next generation of technocrats in CPS technologies.
