IIT Palakkad actively participates in PANIIT's Global Technology Summit 2023
The recently held PANIIT's Global Technology Summit (PI-WOT 2023), in Bangalore on December 8th and 9th 2023, featured active participation from IIT Palakkad. Prof. A. Seshadri Sekhar, Director; Dr. Arvind Ajoy, Associate Dean (IC&SR); Dr. Vivek Chaturvedi, Interim CEO, TECHIN; and Dr. Dinesh Setti, Faculty-in-Charge, International and Alumni Relations attended the event. Shri. A. S. Kiran Kumar, Ex-Chairman of the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO), was the guest of honour.
PI-WOT 2023 organized by PANIIT, has garnered global attention with approximately 5000 participants spanning diverse sectors like industries, academia, government, startups, and stakeholders. During the IIT Directors' discussion forum, Prof. Sekhar spotlighted IIT Palakkad's initiatives for Industry Connect and holistic student development. He also engaged in a panel discussion on "Frugal Innovation for Masses," showcasing IIT Palakkad's endeavors in frugal innovations aimed at the masses.
Dr. Dinesh Setti took part in a boardroom session with IIT Alumni Association presidents, highlighting the initiatives and challenges faced by IIT Palakkad. Additionally, Dr. Arvind and Dr. Vivek actively contributed to the discussion among incubation center heads.
