NSM Nodal Centre for Training in HPC and AI

Indian Institute of Technology Palakkad (IITPKD) has been recognized as a Nodal Centre for Training in HPC and AI  by the National Supercomputing Mission (NSM), an initiative of the Government of India. The HPC-NC at IIT Palakkad, and its sister NCs at IIT Madras, IIT Goa, and IIT Kharagpur is tasked with training manpower in all aspects of High Performance Computing (HPC) to meet the current and future needs of our Nation. All HPC-NCs will partner with each other to conduct workshops and training programs, design curricula for basic and advanced courses on HPC as well as offer MOOCs at regular intervals with the goal of enabling scientists and researchers to push the frontiers of HPC research in the country.

 

ACTIVITIES

  • NSM Nodal Centres for Training in HPC and AI, along with CDAC, are organizing a 13-week course from November 2020 onwards on High-Performance Computing. This course is open to everyone
