    In Industry (General Electric) worked on development of dynamic systems such as X-Ray tube rotor bearing, motors and drive trains of Wind turbines. The development of X Ray tube rotors analysed novel bearing systems for the motor and anode. Liquid metal Lubricant was tested out as lubricant for the high vacuum and temperature conditions. This has resulted in patents and publications in USA. Currently working on enhancing performance of systems such as Wind Turbine and EV drive train by reducing bearing friction. Also working on systems for Aircraft Engines for introducing high material damping and analyzing nonlinear response of such systems


    BIS Chair Professor in IIT Patna and member BIS committee on Wind Turbines


    Working on societal relevance projects under Swacchta Action Plan for which Designs and Patents have been granted in
    India
