Taking flight into the future of aviation technology! 

The DGCA-Approved Remote Pilot Training Organisation (RPTO) established by IIT Palakkad Technology I-Hub Foundation (IPTIF) and Jet Aerospace Drone Manufacturing Hub has been successfully inaugurated at IIT Palakkad, Kerala by Prof. A. Seshadri Sekhar, Director, IIT Palakkad), with Mr. Christi V Jacob, Joint Programme Director, Aeronautical Development Establishment (ADE) - DRDO as the Guest of Honour. Dr. Saishyam Narayanan, CEO, IPTIF; Mr. Balakannan Jayachandran, Chairman & Managing Director, Jet Aerospace and Ms. Krithiga R S, CEO, Jet Aerospace - presided over the event.
The programme featured the grand inauguration of the DGCA-approved facility for Small and Medium Class Drone Pilot Training, along with the release of the RPTO Logbook, Training Manuals, and TPM. The programme also marked the commencement of the Faculty Development Programme (FDP), offering educators insights into the latest developments in Unmanned Aerial Systems. Participants visited the RPTO and witnessed a live drone demonstration, showcasing the capabilities of the modern training fleet. The event also included insightful sessions by IPTIF on the drone ecosystem, Centre of Excellence (CoE), research guidance, and startup ecosystem and funding opportunities, highlighting the growing possibilities in the field of drone technology.
