Strengthening Ties: Norwegian Research Team visits IIT Palakkad

IIT Palakkad was delighted to welcome Prof. Folke Haugland, Head of the ICT Department, and Prof. Linga Reddy Cenkeramaddi, Leader of the ACPS Research Group from the University of Agder, Norway.  Prof. A. Seshadri Sekhar, Director, IIT Palakkad , along with Dr. M. Sabarimalai Manikandan, Associate Professor, ,Department of Electrical Engineering and the International Relations Team, participated in the discussions and explored several key topics.
The potential for a joint master's program in AI-powered Electronic System Design was discussed, aiming to provide cutting-edge education and research opportunities for students. Future joint activities were planned, focusing on strengthening collaboration and knowledge exchange between both institutions. Discussions also examined the scope for various collaborative projects like the ongoing INMOST project, funding opportunities, scholarship prospects, and student exchange programs to facilitate student mobilization. This visit underscores our commitment to fostering international partnerships, enhancing academic excellence, and driving innovation through collaborative research.
