A Step Towards Sustainability: IIT Palakkad and NAMTECH Join Hands

The MoU Exchange Ceremony between IIT Palakkad and the New Age Makers Institute of Technology (NAMTECH), Gujarat, took place successfully, marking the beginning of a strategic partnership focused on co-developing innovative learning and action research initiatives, particularly for the School of Sustainability.

The event was graced by Prof. Ibrahim Hafeezur Rehman, Director, School of Sustainability, NAMTECH, and Mr. Arunkumar Pillai, Director-General, NAMTECH, who represented their institution during the ceremony.  Dr. B V Ramesh, Registrar; Dr. Arvind Ajoy, Associate Dean, ICSR; Dr. Athira P, Dean Academics; Dr. Selva Pandian, Industry Liaison Officer; and Dr. Jayasree S, Educational Outreach Officer represented IIT Palakkad. 

The collaboration between IIT Palakkad and NAMTECH aimed to leverage their complementary strengths to drive advancements in industrial technology and sustainability. As part of this partnership, both institutions envisioned joint initiatives such as internships, action research projects, faculty capacity development, consultancy assignments, guest lectures, and outreach activities.
