In Step with Nature !

IIT Palakkad celebrated World Environment Day 2025 with a Tree Plantation Drive, aligned with this year's theme “ Ending Plastic Pollution Globally.” The initiative was formally inaugurated by Prof. A. Seshadri Sekhar, Director of IIT Palakkad. The drive was held at the tree and turf area near the Engineering Works Department office and will continue until 7 June 2025.  Members of the  IIT Palakkad community came together to plant saplings, reinforcing the institute’s ongoing commitment to environmental sustainability.
