Samavesh 2.0 – Women Entrepreneurship Development Program at IIT Palakkad

Samavesh, a 4-day Women Entrepreneurship Development Program organized by TECHIN,  IIT Palakkad in collaboration with Rubfila International Ltd., was inaugurated at IIT Palakkad. The program is an initiative designed to empower women with entrepreneurial knowledge, innovation-driven thinking, and practical exposure to startup development and business creation and aims to strengthen entrepreneurial thinking and enhance innovation capabilities among women. 

The initiative has brought together around 30 women entrepreneurs and aspiring entrepreneurs from across Kerala, reflecting the growing enthusiasm among women towards innovation, entrepreneurship, and startup development. The program is structured to build awareness and capability through expert-led sessions, workshops, and interactive engagements.

The inaugural ceremony was held in the presence of distinguished guests and leaders from academia and industry. The program was formally inaugurated by Prof. A. Seshadri Sekhar, Director, IIT Palakkad and Chairman, TECHIN. The event was graced by Mr. G. Krishna Kumar, Managing Director, Rubfila International Ltd.; Ms. Divya Thalakkalat, Executive Director, TiE Kerala; Dr. Arvind Ajoy, Dean ICSR, IIT Palakkad; Dr. Vivek Chaturvedi, Associate Dean ICSR, IIT Palakkad; and Mr. Midhu Unnithan, Chief Operating Officer, TECHIN, IIT Palakkad.
