A proud moment for IIT Palakkad!

Prof. A. Seshadri Sekhar, Fellow of the Institution of Engineers (India) and Director, IIT Palakkad, has been conferred the “Eminent Engineering Personality” Award in recognition of his eminence and outstanding contributions to the profession of Mechanical Engineering.

The award was presented during the 41st National Convention of Mechanical Engineers, organized by the Kerala State Centre of the Institution of Engineers (India) at Thiruvananthapuram on 4–5 September 2026.

IIT Palakkad congratulates Prof. Sekhar on this well-deserved recognition of his contributions to engineering education, research, and the profession.
