
Prof. Jagadeesh Bayry has been elected as the fellow of IABS
Prof. Jagadeesh Bayry, professor and head of the department of biological sciences & engineering, has been elected as a Fellow of the Indian Academy of Biomedical Sciences (IABS) for the year 2024-25 in recognition of outstanding contributions to the advancement of biomedical research. This honour was conferred during the 13th International Conference of the Indian Academy of Biomedical Sciences (IABSCON-2025) on 'Multi-Omics in Health and Disease,' organized by the department of biochemistry at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences Bhopal (AIIMS Bhopal) from 11th to 13th February 2025.
Established in 2012, IABS aims at promoting research in the field of translational sciences and upholding academic excellence in the field of biomedical sciences. The academy has nearly 500 life members from both India and abroad.
