Patent Granted…!

A patent has been granted for the invention entitled ‘Apparatus and methods for noise-aware and energy-efficient pulse rate variability and heart rate variability analysis’ (Patent Number: 576575). The invention is credited to Dr. M. Sabarimalai Manikandan, Associate Professor, department of electrical engineering, Indian Institute of Technology Palakkad, in collaboration with Prof. Ram Bilas Pachori, Indian Institute of Technology Indore, sponsored by ICMR, India and Fawaz Abdul Razak, Senior Research Fellow under the ICMR project. The patent was submitted under the project titled ‘Development of affordable wearable IoT-GPS enabled intelligent vital signs monitor for smart health monitoring services’.
