Patent Granted…!

A new Indian patent has been granted to the research group of Dr. Shanmugaraju S, Associate Professor, Department of Chemistry; Vamshi Krishna A, research scholar, Department of Chemistry; Dimpal D, research scholar, IIT Madras; and Dr. Palaniselvam. T, Collaborator, IIT Madras, for their work titled ‘Modified Cathode Materials for Metal Ion Battery and Process of Preparation Thereof’. In this patent, they developed a porous organic polymer as an organic electrode material for battery applications, in collaboration with IIT Madras.
