India-AI Summit 2026 Pre-Event Held at IIT Palakkad
The Mehta Family School of Data Science and Artificial Intelligence, Department of Data Science, IIT Palakkad, in association with the IIT Palakkad Technology I-Hub (IPTIF), organised the India-AI Summit 2026 Pre-Event.
The event brought together academic leaders, industry experts, and researchers to deliberate on emerging developments in Artificial Intelligence and its growing impact across sectors. The programme featured expert talks on Cognitive Hyperscaling, Introduction to Generative AI, and Applications of AI for Industry 5.0, followed by a panel discussion on “Collaboration and Upskilling in the Age of AI.”
The distinguished speakers included Mr. Sai Sundarakrishna, Chief Information Officer - AI, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham; Dr. C. K. Narayanan, Head, Department of Data Science, IIT Palakkad; Dr. Abhijit Lele, ARTPARK, IISc Bangalore; Dr. Mrinal Kanti Das, Associate Professor, IIT Palakkad; Dr. Vijayendran Venkopa Rao, Senior Consultant, Bosch Automotive Electronics India Pvt. Ltd. and Chair Professor & Senior Advisor (Technology), IPTIF; and Dr. V. Raghava Mutharaju, Associate Professor, IIT Palakkad.
The pre-event served as a platform for meaningful discussions on academia-industry collaboration, innovation, and skill development in the rapidly evolving AI landscape, setting the stage for the larger India-AI Summit 2026.
