IIT-PKD Professor serves as invited Member of a European Research Council (ERC) Commission

Prof. Jagdeesh Bayry was invited by the European Research Council (ERC) to be a Member of a
commission, ‘LS6-Immunity, Infection and Immunotherapy’, for the consolidator grant panel 2022. This is in recognition of Prof. Bayry's achievements and prolific scientific productivity in the field.

ERC is the top-most European scientific funding body and 321 researchers have won 2022 European Research Council (ERC) Consolidator Grants. The funding - a total of €657 million – is part of the EU’s Horizon Europe programme. It will help excellent scientists, who have 7 to 12 years’ experience after their PhDs, to pursue their most promising ideas.

IIT Palakkad celebrates this recognition for Prof Bayry, and his role in furthering excellence in the field of Immunity, Infection and Immunotherapy.
