IIT Palakkad Shines at Inter IIT Tech Meet 13.0!

The Inter IIT Tech Meet 13.0 showcased a diverse range of challenges that tested participants' expertise across domains such as artificial intelligence, robotics, sustainability, and problem-solving. IIT Palakkad’s contingent demonstrated remarkable skill and teamwork, achieving significant milestones with innovative solutions.

In the realm of artificial intelligence and data analytics, the teams excelled with cutting-edge solutions. The Dream11 team, scoring 69.2 out of 100, developed advanced predictive models to enhance fantasy team selection, setting a benchmark in AI-driven sports analytics. Tackling an enormous dataset of 2TB, the ISRO Data Analytics team created an interactive visualization tool to map solar flares, earning 70 points out of 100. Meanwhile, the Adobe team implemented algorithms to distinguish between real and AI-generated images, showcasing resilience and scoring 68 points.

The Pathway team developed an innovative chatbot using retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) technology, displaying adaptability and earning 69 points.On the sustainability front, the Insolation Energy team focused on reducing solar energy’s environmental impact by creating detailed models and policies, scoring 91 out of 120 points, just 1 point shy of a podium finish. Despite tight deadlines and constraints, the Albatross Energetics team explored energy-efficient refrigerant systems despite tight deadlines and constraints, proposing impactful solutions to real-world energy challenges.

In robotics and autonomous systems, teams tackled complex tasks with creativity and technical depth. The BharatForge team worked on reinforcement learning (RL) algorithms for multi-robot navigation in dynamic industrial setups, scoring 43.2 points.
The ideaForge Aerial Robotics team addressed drone motor failure scenarios and hardware simulations, overcoming significant challenges. Meanwhile, the RoboQuest team excelled in real-time robotic simulations using ROS and Gazebo, showcasing adaptability and problem-solving skills.


Challenges in financial strategies and game development highlighted participants’ analytical thinking and strategic innovation. The Zelta Untrade team, scoring 72 out of 80 points, developed cryptocurrency trading strategies for Bitcoin and Ethereum, reflecting a strong understanding of market dynamics. Under intense deadlines, the Game Development team created a unique game with engaging storytelling and Gameplay. The FedEx team tackled the optimization of package placements in Unit Load Devices(ULDs), demonstrating robust problem-solving abilities. In the domains of mathematics and astronomy.

IIT Palakkad delivered stellar performances. The Astronomy team secured 5th place by analyzing celestial data in a two-stage challenge using telescopes, while the MathBowl team demonstrated their mathematical prowess in a competitive, on-the-spot problem-solving event.Through these challenges, IIT Palakkad showcased its growing technical expertise and resilience. The contingent’s performance is a testament to the institute's commitment to innovation and excellence, paving the way for even greater achievements in future competitions.
