Igniting Curiosity: Science Quest Season 5 at IIT Palakkad

The fifth season of Science Quest, ‘Continuing the Journey with Valsa,’ a ten-day residential camp conducted in memory of the late Prof. M.C. Valsakumar, former Professor of Physics and Dean Student Affairs, commenced at IIT Palakkad. The inauguration ceremony began with an inspiring message from Prof. A. Seshadri Sekhar, Director of IIT Palakkad. The chief guest of the event, Dr. Praveen Krishna, Associate Professor at the Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology (IIST), addressed the gathering. This was followed by a heartfelt tribute from Dr. Uma Divakaran, Associate Professor from the Department of Physics. The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Dr. Rohit Varma, Assistant Professor, Department of Mathematics. Spanning ten days, Science Quest will feature a variety of interactive sessions, science demonstrations, and workshops aimed at igniting scientific curiosity among school students.
