GYTI Appreciation Award 2024 for Research on Closed Loop Sanitation
The research work titled “Closed Loop Sanitation: Self-Powered Technology for Water Recovery and Fertiliser Production from Source-Separated Urine” has been conferred with the Gandhian Young Technological Innovation (GYTI) Appreciation Award 2024. The award was received by Ms. Sangeetha V, Research Scholar, under the guidance of Dr. Praveena Gangadharan, Associate Professor, Department of Civil Engineering. The award was presented by Prof. Ajay Kumar Sood, Principal Scientific Adviser to the Government of India, at the award ceremony at CSIR – National Physical Laboratory (NPL), New Delhi.
The GYTI Awards, organized annually by the Honey Bee Network and SRISTI, recognize and celebrate the ingenuity, creativity, and societal commitment of young innovators who develop science and technology-based solutions to real-world challenges.
