Green Choices, Quiet Impact : World Environment Day at IIT Palakkad

IIT Palakkad celebrated World Environment Day 2026 with a Tree Plantation Drive, aligned with this year's theme “Inspired by Nature. For Climate. For Future” The initiative was formally inaugurated by Prof. A. Seshadri Sekhar, Director of IIT Palakkad. The drive was held near Dr. A.P.J Abdul Kalam Block of the campus and will continue until 8 June 2026.  Members of the  IIT Palakkad community came together to plant saplings, reinforcing the institute’s ongoing commitment to environmental sustainability.
