Faculty from RIT Kottayam visited IIT Palakkad on 17 Jan 2023

A twelve member faculty team from RIT (Government Engineering College) Kottayam visited the Nila Campus of IIT Palakkad, yesterday. The visit was organized for them to see the lab infrastructure facilities and the research development initiatives put in place by the two institutions, as part of the existing MoU between IIT Palakkad and RIT Kottayam.

A brief presentation by Dean Academics and Dean ICSR, IIT-PKD was followed by the RIT faculty visiting various lab facilities and interacting with IIT-PKD faculty and research scholars. The delegation was also given a guided campus tour. The RIT team expressed their interest to explore the possibility of an academic tie-up with IIT Palakkad to set up a Centre of Excellence in Materials & Infrastructure at RIT Kottayam.
