Empowering Innovation: UYARE Launch and IMPACT Demo Day by IIT Palakkad Technology IHub Foundation 

Palakkad : IIT Palakkad Technology IHub Foundation (IPTIF) marked a significant milestone with the launch of the UYARE (Unified Youth Advancements for Research and Entrepreneurship) Program, aimed at empowering students, youth and entrepreneurs from Scheduled Tribe (ST) communities through technology skilling and entrepreneurial training. The launch event announced 20 students chosen for the 6-month in-house training and 10 technology development projects selected for funding. Smt. M. Shameena, Tribal Development Officer, Palakkad, officially launched the program in the esteemed presence of Prof A. Seshadri Sekhar, Director, IIT Palakkad. Smt.Shameena congratulated IIT Palakkad for initiating impactful programs to nurture the potential of students and youth from the ST Community. Prof Sekhar shared his thoughts on IIT Palakkad’s commitment to inclusive education, emphasizing its role in fostering critical thinking and technical skills to prepare the underprivileged students for the future. 

Earlier in the day, IPTIF organized its first ever startup demo day at IIT Palakkad, showcasing more than 20 technology product startups to an enthusiastic crowd of entrepreneurs, investors, technology experts and students.
