Echoes of Insight: Inaugural Faculty Development Programme concluded at IIT Palakkad TLC

The Teaching Learning Centre (TLC) at IIT Palakkad successfully hosted its inaugural Faculty Development Programme (FDP), a four-day workshop from 8th to 11th, December, 2025. The programme was formally inaugurated by Prof. A. Seshadri Sekhar, Director, IIT Palakkad. The faculty development programme was conceived to shape the future of student-centered learning and raise global teaching standards. 

Some of the relevant topics including learning outcomes, active and cooperative learning (ACL), formative and summative assessment methods, strategies for engaging students using AI tools, a course portfolio, and a reflection plan in a course delivery cycle were covered in the programme. The FDP concluded with a final panel discussion titled "How Teachers can Make a Difference.”
