Day 6 - Science Quest: Mathematical Marvels

The Department of Mathematics took the reins on the sixth day of Science Quest 2023 and CRYSTAL. The morning sessions kicked off with an enlightening lecture by Prof. Muruganandam for the senior students, while a captivating session on Graph theory was conducted by doctoral students Cipriyano and Pawan. Following this, problem-solving sessions were led by doctoral students Rishit, Rahul, Srinath, Bharathi, and Ansari. In the afternoon, the senior students enjoyed a talk by doctoral student Jiju, while Rahul engaged the junior students in an interactive session. Ansari and Srinath concluded the day with an engaging puzzle-solving session. Witnessing the unwavering enthusiasm of the students was immensely gratifying, and we anticipate a positive impact from our sessions in their future endeavors.
