We are proud to share that our two research scholars from the Department of Electrical Engineering, working under the guidance of Dr. M. Sabarimalai Manikandan, have won prestigious accolades at the Cardiovascular Research Convergence (CRC 2026), jointly organized by IIT Hyderabad, Nizam's Institute of Medical Sciences (NIMS) Hyderabad, and AIIMS New Delhi.

Best Poster Presentation Award was presented to Sivaranjini Perikamana Narayanan for her research paper titled 'Impact of Cry and Posture on Vital Sign-based Artificial Intelligence (AI)-enabled Remote Infant Cardiorespiratory Disease Prediction System' authored by Sivaranjini Perikamana Narayanan, M. Sabarimalai Manikandan, and Linga Reddy Cenkeramaddi.

Best Oral Presentation Award was presented to Mr. Asit Kumar Panda for his research paper titled 'AI-Enabled Radar-Based Respiration Rate Measurement and Breathing Pattern Analysis for Non-Contact Health Monitoring' authored by Asit Kumar Panda and Dr. M. Sabarimalai Manikandan.
